Do you want to become an official for the Towers…?

Like all other Danish clubs, the Towers must field a group of qualified officials every seasons. These officials are tasked with officiating games at all levels and age groups, except the National League.

If you have officiated before – in Denmark or elsewhere – you may be able transfer your officiating licence directly. If you are new to officiating we will help you get the training you need through the Danish American Football Federation (DAFF) in order to become certified.

You will start out with experienced officials who can help you get settled in. Usually new officials start out as umpires, before moving to (in no particular order) line judge, linesman, back judge, field judge, side judge and ultimately referee.

You do not need to be in top physical shape, but you should be able to move freely and you should have a basic knowledge of football rules.

Officiating is a brilliant way of being involved in football without playing. Not least retired players are very welcome as coaches.

If you would like to learn more about officiating then please contact our head of officials, Thomas Bresemann.
